2009 National Parent Club Canine Health Conference
At the request of Roger Pritchard and at the direction of the ATFTC Board, I was asked to attend the 2009 AKC Canine Health Foundation, National Parent Club Canine Health Conference on October 23-25, 2009 held at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront in St. Louis, Missouri. I have listed below the topics covered during this conference. I took notes as the speeches were delivered. The speakers were also being video taped, with the idea that the videos would be made available for anyone who wishes the information, as so much of what was being shared is new state of the art research. The first of the videos have been released and a link to access the video(s) will be placed on this page as they are published on the Canine Health Foundation. See the video icons below next to the topics. Even though members are able to view the videos themselves, I will also make my notes available to you for your convenience. I won’t guarantee that I didn’t miss something that was said. So, it might be a good idea to scan my notes as you listen to the video to be sure I haven’t missed anything. If you find inconsistencies that need attention, please let me know and I’ll update the written copy that will remain on the website. I’ll attempt to get my notes typed up and available as each video link is released. If time permits, I’ll listen to the videos again to see what I might have missed.
