ATFTC Approved to Hold Agility Shows
When I took on the position as Performance Chair back in
2007...my goal was to work towards getting our club approved for
performance events. Back in 2008, with the support of the
membership, I worked to gather the needed information to submit to
the AKC to hold sanctioned obedience trials...on February 13, 2009,
the AKC honored our request.
I am pleased to announce once again with the help of the
membership, I gathered the needed information to submit to the AKC
and on February 11, 2010 the AKC has honored our request to hold
said agility trials.
What does this mean to you and our club? We have another avenue to
explore in the future at nationals.
If you know of or have personal connections to the other toy clubs
that hold agility at the Nationals please let me know. It
would be great to join forces.
